David Withington is an Elected Member of the Saltire Society Council and Vice-Convener of the Edinburgh Branch. David's working life was in nursing and nursing education. He worked in Glasgow, London, Bermuda and Edinburgh. His last job was Lecturer in Nursing and Mental Health.

Now retired, his main interest is in Scottish heritage and culture.
