Horse McDonald is one of Scotland’s finest singer/songwriters.

With a successful career expanding nearly three decades she has opened and toured  with several international artists including Tina Turner, BB King, Bryan Ferry, Burt Bacarach to name but a few.

Since her studio debut in 1989 with the single You Could Be Forgiven EP on Capitol Records, Horse’s power to reinvent and advance her musical style and prowess has been unshakable. She has released eight albums including The Same Sky and God’s Home Movie. The latest, her ninth, Home, was released on her own label Randan Records.

In addition to writing and performing, Horse also produces work for other artists - sharing her immense expertise and experience.

Her critically acclaimed autobiographical play, Careful, debuted at 2016's Edinburgh Festival Fringe where it won Arts Award Voice Pick of the Fringe. It is an inspirational story of her triumph over adversity through music which will tour throughout Scotland from March.
