Jill Belch

Jill Belch is a Professor of Vascular Medicine, Consultant Physician in Tayside, where until 2016 she was the Research/ Co-Dean of the Medical School, and NHS Tayside R&D Director. She established the Tayside Academic Health Partnership, is a founder Fellow of the Academy of Medical Science and a Fellow of the Royal Society, Edinburgh. She is Head of the Institute of Cardiovascular Research. She has published over 400 research papers, led over 30 national and international clinical trials in cardiovascular disease. She is Immediate Past President of Vascular Medicine Section, Royal Society of Medicine, and President Elect of the European Society for Vascular Medicine.
