Join the Saltire Society and help us to help Scottish culture thrive

As a member you will receive a monthly newsletter and information on events, publications and other activities. You will have free access to many events and are welcome to attend branch events throughout the country.

Our members have the opportunity to nominate individuals for the Fletcher of Saltoun Awards each year. You can help shape the activities and the future of the Society by voting for members of Council (trustees) and to stand for Council (after being a member for more than 12 months).

We are always keen to hear from our members with their ideas for events, or issues concerning Scottish culture that the society might address; in this way the membership has always shaped the Society's activities. In the past we have campaigned, for example, for broadcasting from Scotland, for the establishment of the National Companies, and to save the Scottish National Portrait Gallery from closure.
