Join the Saltire Society and stand up for Scottish culture

By joining the Society, you join a movement standing up for Scottish culture. Membership offers a chance to connect with people who share the same interests as you at in-person and online events providing food for thought and inspiration from artists and thinkers, while contributing to important initiatives such as The Saltires: Scotland’s National Book Awards.

Our branches

Our members share a love of Scottish culture. In communities across Scotland, members come together to share this passion. This is a chance to connect with people who share common interests, and these interests inform branch programmes.

Branches meet regularly in person in Kirriemuir, Glasgow and Edinburgh. The Aberdeen and North East branch meets regularly by Zoom with some in-person events, and the Highland branch meets for special events, usually in Inverness. All members are welcome at any branch events.
