Alasdair Gray Bursary Launched

Alasdair Gray Bursary Launched

Following on from the success of the 2017 Alasdair Gray Bursary, which saw folksinger Iona Fyffe produce her album Away from My Window through the bursary and go onto be announced as Scots Singer of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards 2018, the Saltire Society is again offering a £1000 Bursary in Alasdair Gray’s name.

The 2019 Alasdair Gray Inspiring Scotland Bursary will be made to an emerging creative who offers exceptional potential and can demonstrate how the bursary will benefit their creative development.

Judging will be made by an independent panel of experts with the recipient announced in March 2019.
