CUNISON RANKIN, CHAIRMAN OF COUNCIL.
It is with deep sadness that the Saltire Society announces the death of our Chairman,
Henry Cunison Rankin, on 4th January 2010. Cunnie's long service to the Society was dynamic and stimulating. His wide knowledge and commitment to advancing Scottish culture was not confined to the Society, as the press obituaries in
The Herald
and The Scotsman testify. His practical guidance and gentle humour will be much missed by his colleagues and friends within the Society.
Our thoughts are with his wife Enid and his family.
