Representing The Institution of Civil Engineers (Dundee)
Adam Olejnik is Head of Public Space Management at Perth and Kinross Council. His remit covers the management of roads and transport, flood prevention, parks and cemeteries, countryside and emergency planning. A graduate of the University of Dundee, he is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Chartered Environmentalist. A past Chair of the Dundee Area Branch of the Institution of Civil Engineers, his early career was in construction. Whilst overseas, he worked on a multi million pound contract for the largest coal fired power station in the southern hemisphere which included the tallest structure on the African continent. On return to the UK, he initially continued in contracting, on various projects such as water treatment plants and new road construction.
