Graham Ross

Graham is a Partner of Austin-Smith Lord LLP and studio principal for their Glasgow office. He is an award-winning architect and urban designer and has been involved in successful projects throughout the UK and Ireland.

Graham has served on the Board of Architecture + Design Scotland since 2006 and has been Deputy Chair since 2010. Graham has also served on the Saltire Housing Awards Panel since 2010.

Recent projects have included housing for New Gorbals Housing Association, Newesk village masterplan in Aberdeenshire, a housing-led mixed use masterplan for 21st Century Homes for Pennywell and Muirhouse in Edinburgh, a masterplan for a Community Woodland park in Glasgow’s east end, town centre regeneration projects for Helensburgh and Irvine, and a new library for University of Edinburgh.

Graham has also led design charrettes through the Government’s Scottish Sustainable Communities Initiative and contributed to published Government research into mixed use development.

Graham studied at Edinburgh College of Art and the Technische Universitat Berlin.
