Anne Stuart is currently the Chair of Cassiltoun Housing Association and its multi award winning subsidiary Cassiltoun Trust based in Castlemilk Glasgow, one of Glasgow’s peripheral estates created in the 1950s.
Anne has been involved with Cassiltoun since its inception in 1984 as a local tenant of some 35 years.
Anne has been part of a team of voluntary board member and staff and has led the Association through major transformational and regeneration change.
The Association had grown, diversified and established a strong reputation locally and nationally.
The redevelopment of the Grade B Historic Castlemilk Stables which was completed at a cost of £4.5m in 2007 has led to the creation of new services, training opportunities, new employment opportunities.
The Cassiltoun Group which includes another subsidiary collectively employ 39 people, many of whom are local to Castlemilk.
Anne is qualified to HND and SVQ level in housing and governance, her work and role in community regeneration has been further recognised by various trade bodies such as:-

MBE – 2012
Anne also is a member of the SURF Judging Panel and contributes to many seminars, conference and regeneration events.
