AWARDS ANNOUNCED
The 2011 Saltire Society Civil Engineering Awards were announced at a cermony on Thursday 20th October 2011 at the Surgeon's Hall, Nicolson Street, Edinburgh.

About the Award The Saltire Society Civil Engineering Award was established in 1981. The Award is made jointly with the Scottish Association of the Institution of Civil Engineers, and is intended to encourage the highest standards in the design, conservation, environmentally sustainable construction and construction of civil engineering projects in Scotland.
As of 2010 The Saltire Society’s Civil Engineering Award has a Category for Small Community Projects. This Award is aimed at small projects that benefit a local community, where the promoting body may have little funds other than those required for the project.
